We would like to thank the following organizations for their generous and continued support to the Valley of the Khans Project:

National Geographic Society/Waitt Grants Program
The Valley of the Khans Project is proud to be supported by the joint National Geographic Society/Waitt Grants Program. Founded in 2005 by Ted Waitt, the Waitt Institute for Discovery seeks to advance human understanding of the past and secure the promise of a better future through exploration and discovery. Together with National Geographic’s mission to support exploration, research, and conservation efforts around the globe, this foundation has enabled the Valley of the Khans Project to create new methodologies of exploration and enable active conservation and protection of our collective world heritage.

The GeoEye Foundation
The GeoEye Foundation’s generous support of state of the art satellite imagery has enabled the project’s Phase 1 remote sensing efforts. In September of 2008, GeoEye launched their GeoEye-1, the most sensitive commercial satellite in the world, capable of 0.41 meter resolution.
Brunton
Brunton’s state of the art total solar-power solutions allow our expedition team to be powered entirely by clean energy, making the Valley of the Khans Project truly non-invasive.  Brunton is one of the world’s leading innovators in camping, renewable portable power, compasses and optics technologies.
stratos_logoStratos
We would like to thank Stratos for generously donating the satellite communication service that allowed us to stay connected while in the remotest regions of Mongolia. The use of their technology played a huge role in
logistics, safety, and productivity while in the field.
Sandisk
SanDisk Corporation, the inventor and world’s largest supplier of flash storage cards, is a global leader in flash memory – from research, manufacturing and product design to consumer branding and retail distribution. By meeting the flash memory needs of the Valley of the Khans Project, SanDisk has enabled us to be mobile, efficient, and confident that our data is safe.
The North Face
We would like to thank The North Face for outfitting our expedition team with the best outdoor clothing and gear on the market.
