2008 Valley of the Khans Mongolia Expedition

In November of 2008, team leader Dr. Albert Yu-Min Lin traveled to Mongolia to discuss the non-invasive search with top Mongolian politicians, scholars, and media personnel.  Several key collaborations were developed.

GeoEye Foundation: November 2008

Virginia-based GeoEye, Inc. (Nasdaq:GEOY) has endorsed the Valley of the Khans Project through a GeoEye Foundation Grant, providing access to the worlds most advanced satellite earth sensing technology. GeoEye, Inc. owns and operates a constellation of high-resolution earth imaging satellites, including the GeoEye-1, launched in Sept of 2008, boasting the world’s highest resolution commercial imagery system with half-meter ground resolution. The Valley of the Khans Project is grateful for their generous support.
